媽媽工房創立於2015年，早於前期以“媽媽靚湯”為名，到後期才改名為“媽媽工房”，希望不要用名字規限媽媽所想做的，直到現在，“媽媽工房”已是一間持有香港食物環境衛生署發出的正式“食物製造廠”牌照(NO.2994805957)的小店，最終目的其實是希望對購買“媽媽工房”產品的你負上對食品衛生的責任，希望大家可以食用開心又放心，而媽媽一直以香港製造，無添加防腐劑，不添加人造色素等等為招徠，以達致所自家製作產品達到有養生效果，有功用既給大家食用。

直到2015年12月，媽媽遇上“冰糖燉檸檬”這個養生產品，一直到現在，媽媽工房所生產的冰糖燉檸檬系列已增加了有川貝，陳皮的，藉以加強冰糖燉檸檬本身清熱潤喉，化痰止咳的功效，媽媽都希望可以給予更多人認識這個確實有益養生產品給大家認識，亦希望日後可以製作更多無添加，養生產品給予大家。
